The region was founded by a group of settlers. The plan was to expand and establish a new nation for refugees and new beginnings. The settlers at first were overwhelmed by the vastness the region held. Not to mention how each area or part of the region was so different from each other. Eventually it was ruled dangerous to explore due to the hazards and harshness of each part and how they affected the settlers.
