Personal Reflection on Catholicism by a member of the "Catholic Answers" staff

The author of this article tells the story of her journey from a beginning Catholic to a deeply committed one. Though she was baptized and raised Catholic, she wasn’t a strong devotee; she treated her faith rather casually. It wasn’t until her thirties, when she was diagnosed with high anxiety, that she started to deeply explore the concept of Catholicism. Her worsening problems with anxiety led her to pray the rosary to Jesus more earnestly. From here, she became more involved with Catholic traditions such as mass and Lent. By the end of this exploration, her love for God and the Catholic faith were restored more intensely than over.
