After the end of the Han Dynasty in 220 AD, four successor kingdoms arose, each with ambitions to take all of Imperial Zhonghua. Dong Zhuo, the treacherous usurper who sought to remake the Han, became an overwhelming threat to the other three kingdoms with great haste, eventually becoming the new Emperor of All Zhonghua after a hundred years of constant war with the Three Kingdoms and their successors. The Dong Dynasty, headed by the Immortal Dong Zhuo, ruled over Zhonghua for centuries to come.
