For five years, the Kingdom of Albion burned with the fires of war. The people, united in their desire for freedom, overwhelmed the Constabulary all across the nation, taking advantage of the element of surprise and the workers' unique knowledge of Albion's streets and factories.
For the first half of 1908, Londinium, the capital, was under siege from the enormous liberated foundry demons and the screaming painted Picts. The Grand Constable, Edwin Boothe, had been killed in the fighting outside the city walls, and the Constabulary was in shambles. A commandeered Albian torpedo-ram vessel, the HMS Thunder Child, blockaded the waterways leading through the city so as to intercept any material aid coming into Londinium, to great effect.
Londinum was breached on the first of July, and the city was sacked within twenty-four hours. When the Revolutionaries stormed the grand palace of the King, and both he and his demonic ally Prelati were driven out with the power of the worker's rage. After the destruction of the palace, for three days and three nights, blood rained upon Londinium's marble streets, staining them pinkish red permanently.
The Kingdom of Albion was dissolved on the fourth, and the Albian Free Territories were declared on the fifth.
