In April of 1921, Nuova Roma and Songhai sign a treaty that provides the Romans with space along the North African coast for Automa production facilities, and Cianite processing plants, in return for naval protections. The Mediterranean Sea becomes sole property of the Nationalist Economic Caucus, straining relations with all the other nations that share that particular coastline.
