Crow Moirai, the genius mind behind Projekt Marieta, wished to perfect her craft. After the success of the first artificial human, she wished to hone the design, and after the ill-fated Gesellschaft Coup, she had the perfect test subject: Samaira, the demonic ringleader of the Gesellschaft.
The body was exhumed from Grohl Public Cemetary in May of 1910, only a month after the burial. With the body relatively fresh, Dr. Moirai and her new assistant, the Albian defector Clara Owen, did not have to find many replacement parts. The supernatural nature of Samaira's life and death meant that a particular energy inhabited the body even after death, not quite signs of life but not quite lifelessness.
After seven long years of research, implementation and setbacks, the Novosel Royal Bestiary welcomed a new face into its ranks: Sabea, the new inhabitant of Samaira's body. Exactly how human Sabea was was a topic of some contention: In some respects, she was more like some kind of artificial vampire, requiring frequent feasts of blood to replenish her own supply. Her physical capabilities were beyond measure, but her mind was a blank slate, to be taught how to be human all over again.
