In 1142, though the Demons had done relatively little damage to the Abla Yala, the enormous continent west of Europe, its peoples still found the need to gather and consolidate. The First Conference of the Haudenosaunee was attended by the five nations of the North-East. After years of fighting amongst themselves, a delegation comprised of Dekanawida the Peace-Maker, Hiawatha of the Onondaga, and Dekanawida’s advisor Jikonsaseh, gathered the Mohawk, Onondaga, Oneida, Cayuga and Seneca peoples to form a grand coalition of Five Nations. The Law of Peace became a popular prospect amongst the Abla Yala’s people, and over time, Five grew to Six, and Six grew to a Thousand. The Thousand Nations stand to this day, and are the dominant government on that continent.
