Death of the Nazarene

The year 35 was an eventful one for the Nazarene. He had triumphantly entered into Jerusalem, to his flock. He was anointed. He had seen a vision of one of his allies betraying him. Soon after his last supper with his disciples, he was arrested by the Roman government, betrayed by his disciple Judas of Kerioth. Isukiri offered to be executed in his place, but Yeshua refused, stating that his crimes, little as they were, were his alone. Yeshua was crucified with two thieves, spending his final moments focused on his love for humanity, silently petitioning his Father in Heaven to look upon them with love and understanding, to give salvation not just to him, but to all mankind.
