Changes
Baron Zemo is out (also out from Civil war) therefore the Dora Milaje are also out, this gives us more space to explore the central conflict that is US Agent and Sam/Bucky's contrasting approaches to the Flag Smashers
The flag smashers themselves get more screen time and become the principle antagonists the core conflict of the show is analogous to the treatment of refugees; Sam's family are in a similar situation, struggling as a result of the Blip and Sam uses this to make a concrete position that Blip refugees should be given a home, the US refuse but Sam finds a home for them in Europe in a small country near Sokovia called Latveria - where much of the action takes place (rather than Latvia) no Doom mention yet
