The Charn Spire collapses, killing the vast majority of those living within it, causing the deaths of almost 50% of humanity and the extinction of many species that had adapted to Spire habitats.

The exodus of what remains of humanity begins as the survivors flee the devastation that has left most of the continent of Charn uninhabitable once more.
