The devastation caused by the death of the sky plunges the world into a hundred years of winter.

The Great Spire of Charn and the various remaining Towers act as refuge, protecting what little life can cower within from the inhospitable surface.

Any life that survived the initial firestorms are killed off by withering miasma or corrupted by the toxic ash that fills the sky.

The world slowly begins the warm up as the ash subsides, however conditions on Auntara are extremely inhospitable.
